David’s National and International Show experience, and years of dance
training has made him a prominent coach in Southern New Jersey and
Philadelphia area skating clubs. He is a knowledgeable technician
and is uniquely creative. David teaches all levels, beginner through
competitive, classes and private students.
As an amateur, David completed the fifth Figure test, Junior Freestyle and Pre-Silver Dance. He competed in various singles events, winning numerous medals in compulsory figures and freestyle. Since becoming a coach David achieved the status of a PSA Registered rating and has attended many training seminars and conferences. |

Moves in the Field Power Skating Choreography Group Lessons |
Julie has been teaching competitive and recreational figure skating and power
skating since 1991 in the Philadelphia region. She has toured with the
companies such as the Ice Capades, Disney on Ice, Busch Gardens,
Minnie Madden Productions, and Richard Porter Productions.
While on tour Julie performed standout roles such as Inspector Clusseau,
Michael Darling, Dale of Chip n Dale, and Daisy Duck, as well as holding
the 2nd pair team spot for Disney and in Busch Gardens.
Julie trained and competed near Chicago, Illinois as a youth, where she completed up to her Pre-Gold dance test, before moving to the Philadelphia region to complete her BFA in Fine Arts at Moore College of Art and Design. Julie has enjoyed all aspects of the ice from performance, skate sharpening and ice hockey, to the management and direction of local skating programs at University of Pennsylvania and the Blue Cross River Rink. |

Moves in the Field Power Skating Choreography Stroking |
Jenn brings a variety of expertise to the Igloo and has been teaching since
the early 90's. She is an accomplished figure skater, having passed her USFSA
Fifth Figure Test, Junior Freestyle and Silver Dance. She has competed at the
junior level regionally as well as competing in Collegiates. She trained both
locally and at the Petit Olympic Center in Milwaukee, WI while in high school
and college. She adds, to those skills, a year of College Hockey and Power
Skating instruction at the high school and college level. Jenn has completed
the PSA basic Accreditation Exam, has a B.A. in Psychology and Science,
a M.Ed in Special Education/Elementary Ed, and a BSN in nursing. This places
Jenn in a very special field of teaching special needs classes as well as
special skaters. Jenn was also has experience as skating director at
University of Penn Ice Rink and Medford Ice Rink.
Jenn currently heads the Igloo Power Skating Instructional Program. |

Karen is a USFS double gold medalist, an international competitor, and six-time US National competitor. Karen was the regional and sectional champion in the Novice, Junior, and Senior levels. She was the bronze medalist in Junior Ladies at the US Nationals in 1991 while also winning the bronze medal in the Championship Ladies Compulsory Figures event. Karen trains all levels of freestle utilizing her competitive experience to improve her skaters' jump technique, artistry, footwork, edge quality, and power. Karen enjoys teaching all levels and abilities from beginners to the elite. Karen has been teaching since 1992. |
