Frequently Asked Questions

Why Join USFSA?

A skater who wishes to test or compete must be a USFSA member. A skater may join USFSA as an individual or through a club such as SCOSNJ.

Membership through a skating club means the skater "represents" the club when competing. It also means that when testing or competing away from the home rink, permission from the home club is required (gained through a signature of a home club official on the test/competition application or through the blanket permission letter to each member).

USFSA Membership Through SCOSNJ

If you become a USFSA member through SCOSNJ, our club pays your USFSA annual fee. There is no extra charge to you.

USFSA membership forms may be obtained through your coach, or any official of SCOSNJ. Completed forms should be returned to SCOSNJ mailbox in the front office.
