The Skating Club of Southern New Jersey, an affiliated club of USFS, is committed to providing its members a sense of belonging and friendship. We recognize the hard work, discipline and perseverance that figure skating requires. It is our goal to provide guidance, teamwork, and mentoring to our members.

Elayne Strugatz Spirit Award

The Elayne Strugatz award is a club spirit award presented to a club member in memory of Elayne Strugatz. Elayne was warm, welcoming, and quiet in her work, but always working. For more information, see the nomination form.

2009 Summer Banquet Information

Synchro Team

The SCOSNJ is looking to start 2 synchro teams. The levels will be determined at tryouts which will be scheduled at a later date (we are looking at the beginning of summer). Currently the SCOSNJ is forming a steering committee and we are looking for club member moms or dads to join the committee. The purpose of the steering committee is to (1) form a team and (2) hire a synchro coach. Please let us know if you are truly committed to this cause and are willing to serve on the steering committee. Having a successful team takes manpower and we need your help.
